No. Fleas and nits are not the same. Here’s the difference:

Fleas are tiny, wingless insects that live on animals (like cats, dogs, or even humans). They bite and suck blood, and they can jump long distances. Adult fleas are visible to the naked eye (about 1–3 mm long), brownish, and move quickly.

Whereas, nits are the eggs of lice, not fleas. They’re tiny, oval, and white or yellowish, and they stick to hair shafts, especially close to the scalp in humans. Nits themselves don’t move or bite.
