Wrapping paper is unsafe for your pet. You're best off using pet-friendly wrapping paper.

For cats and dogs, opening their present is probably more exciting than what’s inside, so make sure the wrapping paper you use is pet-friendly. This means no paper that’s treated with chlorine or bleach. And be careful of sellotape, which can be a serious choke hazard.
